Tell Box'd what you're putting in each box as you pack (we'll write the list), or add it later. Optionally, snap photos of the box contents so you can see inside without opening the box. When you're done, you've got a list of what's in every box. Search by item anytime.

I forgot what's in my unit. How does Box'd help?

Search for an item before you drive over. Photos show what's inside without cutting tape. When you're there, Flashlight Search can highlight the right box in the stacks.

My storage unit has terrible signal. What can I do?

Box'd still needs internet today. Many people search at home, write down box numbers, then grab only those at the unit. We're working on offline support.

Where should I stick labels in a dark or packed unit?

Put the same code on two sides of the box so you can scan from the aisle even when boxes are stacked deep or turned sideways.

How does Flashlight Search work at the unit?

Type what you're looking for, point your phone at the rows, and the app highlights the box that matches. You need QR labels so we know which physical box is which.

Can my partner or family see the same list?

Yes. Partner Share lets them view your boxes with their own access. No shared password.

Do I have to print labels?

Numbers work if you write them on the box and type them in the app. You get lists, search, and photos. Flashlight Search needs printed QR codes.

What labels should I buy?

Avery J8165 is a common fit for our sheet. Plain paper and clear tape work if you're not picky.

Why do you need my camera and microphone?

The camera scans labels and snaps photos of what's inside so you don't have to open the box later. The mic is for voice input: say what's inside while your hands are full, and we'll turn it into a list.

Does Box'd work without internet?

Not yet. Garages and units are exactly why offline mode is on our roadmap.

How do I cancel my subscription?

No stress. Manage your subscription in Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. You can cancel or change your plan anytime.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Box'd is iOS-only for now, but Android is on the way. Email us if you want a heads-up when it ships.

Who can see my data?

Only you and people you invite through Partner Share. We don't sell your data, and we don't browse your boxes. Support only looks at your account if you ask us to fix something.

Is it free?

Your first 5 boxes are free, no account needed. After that, you can subscribe for unlimited boxes. That keeps the app running (servers, design, coffee).

Is Box'd only for storage?

It's built for any boxed stuff: moves, sheds, and small business stock. See the moving page if you're mid-move.
